So today is the 59th Anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II*. Here, therefore, is a rendition of God Save The Queen. Please be upstanding:
Andrew, on this auspicious day, week-end and bank holiday-s (though, I hear that God may well rain on the forthcoming parades) I think the wrong track has been downloaded. 'Anarchy in the UK' plays above, which is very nice indeed, but it possibly wasn't the track of the Sex Pistols' 'song' that you'd intended.
Ive just heard on this afternoon's ITN News - "Sixty years ago today Her Majesty became Queen." Shoddy reporting! If one of our two national news networks can't get it right, what hope is there of those abroad reporting the events accurately?
Ray, you are right. It wasn't the song I thought it was! I blame late night blogging (and thankfully note you're the only one to have spotted the error!)
