A gentle 'smiley' little piece. :-)
I can never understand how I managed to sleep through the whole thing, only finding out about the nationwide damage when I woke up the following morning. I was living in Oxford at the time and this event happened on my birthday night, though pretty sure I hadn't sozzled myself to sleep.

Btw: Great shame that the BBC are not commissioning another series of 'Shooting Stars'. It took quite some time for me to get into R & M's surreal brand of humour, but since it 'clicked' I've found the show unmissable, even if it was on too sporadically.
