I've seen OCS (yes, I'm cool enough to call them that) a million times. I love, love, love them. They make me think of watching This Life on the telly. My friends aren't up for seeing them as much any mor, which is STUPID of them! I'll check in with you next time I see they're playing...
Well, okay. My own first choice would have been Roy Orbison (The Big 'O') followed, if that is allowed, by OMD. (In 'sotto voce' I also couldn't completely ignore Gilbert O'Sullivan, who, if one drew a veil over his dubious school cap and short pants image, wrote some remarkable lyrics and some pretty good tunes to go with them.)

I've liked OCS for ages. 'July' is a great track.

Cheers Jo! They make me think of TFI Friday and I looked through lots of old clips of that when prepping this post!
I liked a few OMD songs in late eighties/nineties, although I suspect that they not what the purists would consider their best works.
I love Roy Orbison but don't have anything by him... My mum say him years ago and my grandad liked him too, so it runs in the family!!
