One of the greatest rewards as a blogger is feedback - particularly of the positive kind. Peer recognition can be a huge boost to one's self esteem (or one's ego, depending how you look at it). Last year (2011) I was flattered to receive votes for Total Politics Lib Dem Blogger of the year - with a link to Lib Dem Gains.
At the time of writing, May 2012, I've made a recent effort to write more political orientated pieces and some of these have been featured in Lib Dem Voices' Golden Dozen feature. Which makes me both excited and grateful!
