To each their own obviously, as the other user said, but IMHO, if Southside was a fresh debut with a bold sound statement, Mothers Heaven was the next level of maturity in both writing and production and one of the best UK alt-rock albums of the 90s. Ricks Road was already quite tired and uninspired compared to it, and from then on it's all downhill into general pop of little - if any - relevance. Such a pity indeed because they had everything to become a classic alt-rock act, everything including one of the most outstanding female voices the UK has ever produced.
The good thing about music though is it outlasts its creators' inspiration (and life itself), so I'll always be grateful to Sharleen and friends for this masterpiece that still gives me goosebumps 30+ years down the road.Michelenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6274602978151973604.post-3131258885201819802023-06-01T03:31:21.230+01:002023-06-01T03:31:21.230+01:00Thanks great bloogThanks great bloogYogurt Recipeshttps://www.yogurtfoodies.com/yogurt/mixed_berry_yogurt_with_granola_5220819210.shtmlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6274602978151973604.post-79902806321636286292022-08-04T22:59:02.354+01:002022-08-04T22:59:02.354+01:00Thanks great postThanks great postArvada Boilershttps://www.boilers-radiators.com/us/radiators-colorado/arvada-boilers.shtmlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6274602978151973604.post-2783732050521305892021-12-16T15:33:17.810+00:002021-12-16T15:33:17.810+00:00Thankk you for being youThankk you for being youKaleb Shttps://www.kalebstone.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6274602978151973604.post-78815367192652989002020-07-30T08:16:46.778+01:002020-07-30T08:16:46.778+01:00Thanks Andrew.Fwiw I'm edging from abstaining ...Thanks Andrew.Fwiw I'm edging from abstaining to voting for Layla. However I remain concerned that the great British press will focus all their attention on her personal life to the exclusion of anything else.I'm also not best pleased by a system which limits the opportunity to stand to sitting MP's.In the end we aren't looking for the best person to lead but the best MP from a tiny pool.Hardly surprising if that for many becomes a contest to elect the least worst option.Deanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04155922632210653021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6274602978151973604.post-71725163570552429062020-06-25T03:56:14.025+01:002020-06-25T03:56:14.025+01:00Thanks for sharing, nice post! Country blues with slide and reverb, after Rick's Road, it was all downhill, but to each their own. Mother's Heaven stands out over their first album due to the production quality and the variation in songs. Oddly enough, IMO< the best songs are the last 3----the classic haunting "Wrapped in Clothes of Blue", the stripped down country "Return" and the anthem closer "Walk The Dust" with it's incredible keyboard, haunting lyrics and exceptional, if not cut short, guitar solo at the end. Yes, it's true, if you like the Texas sound of the past years, you won't like Mother's Heaven----I'm just sad they couldn't find more commercial success with their original sound which was...a hybrid original.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6274602978151973604.post-38897293844846327952019-12-23T07:42:55.339+00:002019-12-23T07:42:55.339+00:00شركة تسليك مجاري بالقطيف

I checked him out when my husband who could not get me pregnant for over 9 years of marriage as a result of low sperm count became fertile and now, I am 5 months pregnant and it is this man known as Dr Mandaker who helped my husband solve his problem. My name is Alecia from CA USA. I would advise anyone and everyone who needs the help of any spell caster in love marriage, finance, job promotion, lottery spell, poker spell, golf spell,Law & Court case Spells, money spell, weigh loss spell, diabetic spell, hypertensive spell, high cholesterol spell,Trouble in marriage,Barrenness(need spiritual marriage separation),good Luck, Money Spells,it's all he does or looking for breakthrough in your political career to meet this Dr Mandaker the link to his website copy this link (witch-doctor.page4.me)His email contact witchhealing@outlook.com for He is a Reliable and trustworthy. It was then I sort out, thanks to Dr Mandaker.Madonaldohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05637720202380079008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6274602978151973604.post-83498997225813358382019-07-02T00:34:10.640+01:002019-07-02T00:34:10.640+01:00I read your article and thought to respond. I know...I read your article and thought to respond. I know Ed personally and have great admiration for him.

I am backing Ed Davey for the leadership campaign. Your analysis to support Jo seems to boil down to gender and an ability "to connect". I think a LibDem leader needs to have very strong strategic thinking and negotiating ability. I feel Ed has the edge on that. Ed's record and accomplishments as Secretary for Energy and Climate Change are something to be proud of rather than to apologise for. On top of that he connects enough to build a 15,000 majority from an inital 56.

Ed does offer a vision on future direction and its centred around climate change and decarbonising the economy. You lament the fact another candidate is not running which suggests your support for Jo is not that strong. I would back Ed whover else was standing.

You admit Ed has run a better campaign but suggest this is not a significant difference. I consider Ed's attention to detail and preparation for this campaign indicates how he approaches all contests. He wants to win. To suggest Ed's campaign team would be as effective without his leadership and input is a bit hopeful.

Ed supporters, including many prominent LibDem women, recognise Ed's experience, character and team-building qualities edge Jo's many gifts. Ed has encouraged and supported many women and other underepresented groups to stand as Liberal Democrats. I think candidate gender should not be mentioned when so many women, BAME and LGBT members are already backing Ed.

Thanks for writing the article and its great we have two very capable candidates.John Sweeneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04710572252101126091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6274602978151973604.post-39970107639956101462018-01-18T11:01:20.211+00:002018-01-18T11:01:20.211+00:00A brief update - although I will probably turn thi...A brief update - although I will probably turn this into another post in due course.

I've had lots of suggestions both here and on Facebook.
